Guess Fiat Ducato’s longevity in the U.S.
“Chrysler to build Ducato van at expanded Mexico plant,” says autonews.com
Searching on the internet for todays top stories in the news, I found this article by autonews.com talking about expansion of factories in Saltillo, Mexico in manufacturing the Fiat Ducato van. The van is most likely to arrive in the U.S. sometime this year according to Vellequette. “Marchionne said the front-wheel-drive full-sized commercial van shares a platform with the Peugeot Boxer in Europe”.
With its European slim Physique and aerodynamic structure, drivers are capable of maneuvering the cargo van easily through tight spaces while having the capability of carrying up to 2 tons in weight!
- What are your thought’s on this European style van coming to a street near you? Do you think it’ll be a big hit? Post your thoughts and answers and tell me what you think.
- Make sure to check out Fiat’s interactive site for the Ducato van at the bottom of the post and as always, make sure you follow me on my twitter and tumblr! Enjoy the weekend.
